Mission Needs

Prayer is our most important need. Continued prayer for our staff to be able to minister to our guests with clarity, wisdom, discernment, patience, and the ability to listen well and give counsel that is in accordance to God’s will.

On-Going Ministry Needs

1. Food: Items such as canned soups, chili, canned fruits, spaghetti sauce, milk, eggs, bread, cold cereal, bacon, sausage, casseroles that we can freeze, fresh vegetables, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, lettuce, sandwich meats, and chips, etc. (Please understand that we cannot take frozen or canned goods that are close to or past their expiration date.)

2. We are updating our office and chapel/dining room areas, and we could use some weathered barn-type wood.

3. We will always have financial needs and we are thankful for those that give to support this ministry with prayer, finances, time, and needed items.

4. We have started a new capital improvement donation fund so we will be able to cover the ongoing expenses of our facility.

God has blessed us through the years and we have been financially responsible with our donations so that we have no debt!

Praise the Lord! However, our facility is showing the wear and tear of many years of ministry.

These are some of our upcoming maintenance needs:

New flooring & repair in dorm: $7,300

            New siding, repair, & paint on 3 buildings: $8,000 x 3 = $24,000

(hopefully next summer)

Bathroom updates & repairs in dining/chapel area: $5,500

Drywall repair & paint in dorm: $3,000

            Insulation in attics in 3 buildings: $1,700 x 3 = $5,100

We want our facility to represent our ministry and community well. We want to create a comfortable setting for our guests to hear God’s Word and regroup.

Your fellow servant in Christ,

Steve Schubarth
